Hipknitism.com's Free Online Classes are self-paced tutorials that walk you through a knitting project from start to finish.
All the Classes assume that you have basic knitting skills. You should know how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and cast off. You should also know the difference between right and wrong - as it pertains to the sides of your knitted fabric, that is. If you need to learn or relearn any one of these techniques, spend a little time practicing before you begin any of the following Classes (this list of beginners' knitting resources might help).
You should also have basic computer skills and know how to connect to the internet and browse from your computer. If you are viewing this page online, then you're good to go.
If you experience technical problems, have suggestions for improvement or ideas for new Classes, please let me know by following the Contact Janine link at the bottom of any page. Have fun!
